I never thought I'd ever "Blog"! I mean, who has the time? -especially when I'm supposed to be writing a musical, not writing about writing a musical. Well, this is an experiment for the time being. We'll see hoe it goes!
I have been working on a show called "The Virgin Courtesan" with composer Blair Thomson. Things are going quite well. I'm busy with another draft of the script and Blair is writing gorgeous music. We have a great dramaturge in Kevin John Saylor, and our first workshop producer is Stepehn Pietrantoni. Our staged reading of the piece will be the final event of Montreal's Next Wave Musical Theatre Festival on August 31st at the Gesu Theatre!
